Ideas
You can add the flowers to any design. Embellish the flowers with
beads, shapes, buttons, tiny flowers, leaves or glitter.
Use the different sizes of flowers and
rotate them to different positions to create a flower bed grouping or
frame.
Use the birdies for quilt blocks and
alternate large and small flowers for the border sashing. Wonderful baby
quilt, matching bib or burb cloth! Add designs to a crib bumper and room
accessories for a great baby bedroom set.
Run the flowers along the bottom of a skirt or
apron and add birdie appliques amongst and above the flowers. Also
great for curtains border.
Use a zig-zag satin stitching on your
machine and create a stem with branches to either side. Applique the
flowers on each stem and add some of the applique birdies. Perfect to
run up the side-front or back of a blouse. jacket or t-shirt or along
the bottom of curtains and skirts as a border. This is adorable on a
little girl's skirt or all around the bottom edge of her jacket.
Use small flowers on napkins to match
birdie designs on placemats.
Perfect for toddlers clothing, baby
blankets and towels.
Add them to totes, backpacks, album
covers and such.
Do one or more flower appliques on tear
away stabilizer. When completed, gently tear stabilizer away from
outside edge. Leave the stabilizer on the flower Glue the flower on a
flower pot, stationary, plain bathroom accessories or kitchen items to
dress them up. For the bathroom, add flowers and/or birdies to towels
for a coordinating set.
Kitchen towels, potholders. curtains,
throw pillows and
wall hangings. Use seasonal fabrics
for projects at Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and so on. Sprinkle in
appropriate buttons or shapes to accent the season. |
