1/4 Yard of Fabric 1/4 Yard of contrast Fabric 1/4 Yard of Pellon Thermolam® Stabilizer 1/4 Yard of Pellon Craft Fuse® Stabilizer 1/3 Yard of wash away stabilizer Embroidery thread for: Leaves Roses Outline Satin cover stitching that goes around the holder edge Masking Tape Sulky® KK2000 Embroidery Adhesive Spray (Optional) Wind a bobbin full of the same embroidery thread you plan to use for the satin cover stitching going around the holder edge. Place bobbin in your embroidery machine. |

1st Hooping - Top Tissue Piece Load Top Tissue or Top Tissue No Rose design into your machine. Hoop wash-away stabilizer into your hoop. |

|
Prepare sides of Tissue Holder: Cut 1 strip of fabric 14"x6-1/4" Cut 1 strip of Craft Fuse® 14"x3" |

Lay Craft Fuse® strip so long edge aligns with fabric's long edge. Be sure shiny side is DOWN. |

Lightly press Craft Fuse® strip in place. |

Fold fabric in half over Craft
Fuse® and press well.
Cut into 2 equal strips. |

1. Embroider left and right side placement lines. |

Place 1 strip on left side with the fold aligned along center line and raw edges covering outside edges. |

Tape in place along center folded edge, leaving room on ends for outside stitching. |

Place other strip on right side along center line as you did for the left side. |

Tape in place along center folded edge over the tape for the left side. |

2. Embroider tack down line. |

Trim outside close to stitching. |

OMIT STEPS 4-6 IF NO ROSE DESIGN IS

Embroider design as follows: 3. Decorative trim - use a thread color to compliment fabrics used. |

7. Embroider placement line for contrasting fabric. |

Remove hoop from machine and turn to back side. Place contrasting fabric to extend beyond edges of stitching.
Tape in place. |

Replace hoop on the machine and place contrasting fabric to cover
stitching on top side of hoop.
Use Sulky® KK2000 on back of fabric to hold in place. |

8. Embroider tack down line for contrasting fabric. |

Trim around stitching on both sides of hoop. |

9. Embroider satin cover
stitching. Remove Hoop from machine and stabilizer from hoop. |

On back side of piece carefully cut away stabilizer from middle of design. |

Cut away stabilizer around top piece leaving about 1 inch all the way around. |
| 2nd Hooping - Bottom Tissue Piece | |
| In this hooping you will make the back piece and construct the tissue holder. Load the Bottom Tissue design into your machine. Hoop water soluble stabilizer in your hoop. Use a size 14 embroidery needle. |

1. Embroider the Thermolam® placement line. |

Place a piece of Thermolam® to cover the placement line. |

2. Embroider the Thermolam® tack down line. |

Trim around outside edge close to stitching. 3. Embroider fabric placement line. |

Remove the hoop from the machine and position fabric so it extends over stitching.
Tape in place. Return the hoop to the machine. |

Place fabric over stitching on top side of the hoop spraying Sulky KK2000® on back of fabric to hold in place.
4. Embroider Front and Back fabric tack down line. |

Remove hoop from machine and trim around edges close to stitching on both front and back of the hoop. |

Take front piece and position it on top of piece in hoop, matching edges. |

Tape stabilizer edges in place to hold the top piece in position. |

5. Embroider the zigzag tack down line to secure top piece. |

6. Embroider the satin cover stitching to finish the tissue holder. |

Remove hoop from machine. |

Take tissue out of package and place in tissue holder. |
